An office doesn't need to be a cold white cube, even if it is one! While it's not always possible or even practicable to make structural changes (sometimes even a paint job is impossible), there is so much that can be done to effect a major shift in the vibe. 

This is the room you spend your life in and if it's demanding so much of your time, then you need to make it feel right.

Art is often the answer.

In this executive's office, in a Pitt Street high rise, the white walls and glass partitions felt somewhat sterile and remote. What better way to combat that than with the beautiful nature photography by this artist?

Goodbye white wall, hello Mother Nature. The beauty of Australia's gum trees that pump oxygen into the atmosphere outside, work equally well inside to pump life and vitality into a busy and high stress work space. 

All it took to make this office feel 'earthed' was two large framed photographs by a very clever artist and voila, make-over complete.

Economic and unfussy, nothing radical was required to give this space a tranquility where there was none before. The earth didn't need to move, it just needed its images to grace our white walls and we feel we can breathe again!
